Multigrace Academy, Alimosho has emerged the champion at the prestigious maiden CEM Scrabble Game Competition which took place on September 19, 2025 at Vita Christi College, Idimu.
CEM Scrabble Game Competition is part of CEM school programs designed by CEM Television and Continental Economy Magazine to enhance the academic and social performance of young students, helping them develop fast thinking and strategic problems – solving skills.
Participating at the finals of the competition were Multi Grace Academy – Alimosho, God’s Merit College, Aboru and Vita Christi College, Idimu.
For weeks leading up to the event, the students had been practicing, strategizing, and mentally preparing for the showdown, knowing that only the best would walk away with the star prize.
It wasn’t just about the trophy—this was about pride, prestige, and the chance to prove that their school had the sharpest minds. The energy in the room was electric, as Lagos’s finest secondary schools competed for the coveted title.
The event was graced by the Executive Director, Lagos and Southwest at Fidelity Bank, Ken Opara, PhD, FCIB, represented by Folaranmi Jemirin, Regional Bank Head, Southwest. His message was apt, relating the scrabble game to the current Nigerian economic situation.
And the end of the games, Multigrace Academy took 1st Position while 2nd position went to God’s Merit College. 3rd Position went to Vita Christi College.
