Since 2019, Olive Foundation Ministry, by Pastor Mrs. Bose Aipoh, has remained committed to strengthening marriages, building homes and restoring trust in relationships through its annual empowerment programme for women and couples. Over the years, beneficiaries have shared testimonies, both formally and informally, with CEM Television and Continental Economy Magazine, describing how the programme has positively impacted their marriages and homes. The initiative combines physical and intellectual empowerment, recognising that a healthy home requires emotionally, spiritually and mentally empowered individuals.
The previous editions, which focused on themes such as “The Power of Appreciation in Marriage,” “My Marriage is a Blessing” and “Marital Fulfilment,” went beyond lectures and theoretical discussions. Couples were practically empowered with knowledge and insights capable of helping them build stronger relationships. Through these programmes, Pastor Mrs. Bose Aipoh and Olive Foundation Ministry have continued to remind couples that marriage requires continuous learning, intentional commitment, appreciation and the willingness to grow together.
This year’s programme, themed “New Wine,” to be delivered by Bishop Tammy T. Willie of Humility Glory Mission promises to focus on marriage renewal and a new beginning. The theme carries a powerful message: just as old wine becomes more valuable with age, marriage should become stronger, richer and more valuable as the years go by. Couples are therefore encouraged to renew their commitment to one another, cherish each other and deliberately seek the best in their spouses. Age, changing appearance or the passage of time should never become reasons to stop appreciating one’s partner. Rather, couples should continue to “polish” one another, encourage growth and see the beauty and value that still exist in their relationship.
The programme is targeted at all married couples, with particular attention to younger couples who require proper mentorship and guidance as they build their homes. The central message is that the path of the righteous should shine brighter and brighter; likewise, a marriage should not deteriorate with age but should mature into greater understanding, friendship, trust and fulfillment. The organisers believe that strong marriages are essential to building stable homes and a healthier society.
The “New Wine” programme will take place on Saturday August 1, 2026 at Iceland Civic Centre, Banire Bus Stop, Egbeda, Lagos. Distance, however, will not be a barrier, as the event will be streamed and broadcast live by CEM Television, allowing couples and viewers beyond Lagos to participate.
