Are Kolawole Oyefeso, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, commended the leadership for maintaining high standards. Addressing new members, he remarked that this is a great Club built by the collective efforts of past officers and advised them to continue to build upon the legacy you inherit.
Representing Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Hon.
Gbenga Omotoso, the Commissioner for Information, drew parallels between the resilience of the Club and the spirit of Lagos State. He noted that just like the Club, Lagos State also faced challenges in 2025—including the Great Nigeria Insurance House fire and tragic maritime accident, which they equally surmounted, demonstrating an uncommon ability to rebound.
The Governor’s message highlighted Lagos' recent tourism boom and global event hosting as reflections of the same "can-do spirit" that defines the LCC, urging members to continue to see the Club as a symbol of unity, harmony, and endurance, values that Lagos itself stands for

In a standout moment, the 2025 Resource Person Award was presented to Mr. Segun Shonubi, Chairman of the Media and Publicity Committee.
