As Nigerian Christians join Christians around the world in celebrating Easter this year, Globacom, Nigeria’s wholly owned digital solutions provider, has extended a message of goodwill to them all.

Following the 40-day Christian Lenten season, the yearly Easter celebrations are being held to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on Good Friday and His eventual resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Globacom, in a goodwill message, commended Christians for their endurance during the fasting season and urged them to further promote the Christian values of love and peace, which are the cornerstones of the religion. The company noted that “Christ made Himself a perfect exemplar of these tenets in the way He lived and died for mankind. We all should ractice the teachings of Christ in order for us to enjoy a more peaceful and prosperous nation”.

“Easter reminds us of hope reborn, love unending, and the triumph of light over darkness. It teaches sacrifice, forgiveness, and the power of faith even in uncertain times”, Globacom noted, and enjoined Christians to reflect on the sacred season, and “extend kindness to others. Let the resurrection story inspire courage to rise above challenges and live purposefully”.

In addition to encouraging its customers to spend the Easter holidays with their loved ones, the company assured its customers nationwide of smooth voice, data, and short messaging services as well as additional value-added services both during and after the celebrations.
