Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals, AERMP is the foremost professional body for risk management practice in Nigeria. It was established to set professional standards in enterprise risk management practice among the practitioners in all industries and sectors (both private and public).
Enterprise Risk Management is a relevant practice in all industries due to which the membership of the Association is well spread to both the financial and non financial sectors. On the other hand, the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, CIS is a professional institute established by Act 105 of 1992 as a not-for-profit organization to provide training for professionals in stock-broking, securities and investment, fund and portfolio management, asset management, investment management, and other related fields. It is also responsible for the regulation and discipline of members of the profession. CIS is an affiliated member of the Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria, APBN and an active member of Association of Certified International Investment Analysts (ACIIA) based in Switzerland.
