A delegation from the Aliko Dangote Foundation (ADF), led by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Zouera Youssoufou, alongside the Head of Community Engagement and Polio Eradication, Mr. Ahmed Iya, paid a visit to the Vice President (Operations) of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Dr. Rami Ahmad, at the bank’s headquarters in Jeddah.
During the visit, the delegation highlighted the activities and interventions of the Foundation, noting its impact on people across different communities through strategic investments aimed at improving health and wellbeing, promoting quality education, and expanding empowerment opportunities for individuals and communities.
Speaking during the meeting, Dr. Rami Ahmad expressed optimism about a productive and rewarding partnership between the Islamic Development Bank and the Aliko Dangote Foundation. He noted that many member countries of the IsDB are currently facing significant debt challenges that limit investments in people and livelihoods, stressing the importance of collaborations that can support sustainable development efforts.
