Customers to enjoy free data, e-SIM and exclusive offers on new foldable smartphones
Globacom, Nigeria’s leading digital solutions provider, has partnered with global technology giant, Samsung, to unveil the latest Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8 foldable smartphones.
The new devices were introduced at an exclusive Masterclass event held at the Gloworld outlet on Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event further highlighted the longstanding partnership between Globacom and Samsung, which has continued to bring innovative devices, exclusive offers and enhanced customer experiences to Nigerian consumers.
Under the latest partnership initiative, customers who purchase the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra or Galaxy Z Fold8 at any Gloworld outlet nationwide will receive an e-SIM and a special number, in addition to Globacom’s personalised after-sales service. Purchasers will also enjoy up to 10GB of free monthly data for six months.
Speaking at the event, Samsung’s Product Manager, EIP & MNOs Business, Mr Solomon Osibeluwo, commended Globacom for its continued support in bringing Samsung’s latest innovations closer to Nigerian consumers.
He described the partnership as one built on years of trust and a shared commitment to providing customers with access to cutting-edge technology.
According to Osibeluwo, the new Galaxy Z Fold8 series represents another major advancement in smartphone technology, offering enhanced multitasking capabilities, powerful Galaxy AI features and improved performance powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor.
Also speaking, the Director of Gloworld, Mr Mohamed Rabie, described the launch as another milestone in the enduring partnership between Globacom and Samsung.
He said the collaboration had continued to combine Samsung’s AI-powered technology with Globacom’s reliable network and personalised services to help customers work smarter, create more and stay connected.
Rabie announced that customers could pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8 at any Gloworld outlet nationwide from July 22 to August 20.
The event featured live demonstrations of the new devices, giving business partners, technology enthusiasts and members of the media the opportunity to explore the smartphones’ foldable technology, Galaxy AI features and productivity tools.
