CEM REPORT, FINANCE | The Nigerian Naira (naira) appears to be finding its footing as it has remained at a steady price against the United States Dollars (USD).
Analysts have attributed this to the return of the number one banker to the country – the governor of the CBN Godwin Emefiele
The dollar is presently trading in the same range as yesterday in most markets.
CEM sources in the black market say the greenback is selling at an average of 748.50 which is the same average it sold yesterday.
Similarly, the CBN rate is also within the average range of N453.
Other Markets
The same firm stand is seen in other markets as the British Pounds maintained its stand to sell at N795 on the black market.
The Euro which has been maintaining its range also stayed at N915.
The same was experienced at the CBN rate for both Pounds and. Euro trading at N553 and N491 respectively.
