CEM REPORT | Eko Token, a Cash Reward and Service Company has partnered the Lagos Chapter of the Association of Mobile Money and Bank Agents in Nigeria, AMMBAN to expand its channels for more Lagosians to get rewarded for their loyalty.
Eko Token is a cash reward program for Lagosians in a draw that holds weekly where participants stand a chance of winning between N5,000 and N100m. The platform is powered by Cash Token Africa in partnership with Lagos State Government, hence the name Eko Token.
In a pre-event chat, Stella Oshorinde, Head of Sales of Cash Token Africa, spoke with Continental Economy Magazine about the product, the company and the benefit of partnering with AMMBAN at the Training and General Meeting of the Association held recently at the Eco Event Center, Egbeda.
Stella said, “Our Company, Cash Token Africa, is a cash reward and service company. We operate in the customer loyalty space. We provide a platform for companies and businesses to reward their customers.”
According to Stella, Eko Token is partnering AMMBAN to enable the company expand its network while creating huge opportunity for POS Agents to earn more money and better their lives.

Participants enter the draw when they patronize businesses that operate the reward system or simply purchase one from the company’s platform directly.
Eko Token reward participants in two ways, which are, direct cash under the Guaranteed Instant Cash or through the draw.
Stella said; “Eko Token is a product that gives you cash which comes in two ways. The first is Guaranteed Instant Cash and the second is a chance to win.
You can get Eko Token as reward from businesses for patronizing them or simply buy one for yourself at the cost of N50 only.”
The partnership with AMMBAN to extend the cash earning opportunities to POS operators is in line with the projections of the Governor of Lagos State at the launch of the platform in November last year. Sanwo-Olu projected that it will create about 10,000 direct and indirect job opportunities; and generate minimum cash reward from participating businesses across multiple industries.
POS Agents that sign up with Eko Token will participate by selling Eko Token upon which they earn a commission. Agents will also get free Eko token from the company as bonus to enter into the draw and stand a chance of winning big.
Eko Token is also partnering with other top companies to operate the reward system while seeking out other business enhancing opportunities for their agents. . Therefore, POS operators that will sign up with them will enjoy these other benefits
Stella said, “We are partnering with the biggest company in Nigeria such as MTN, Aitel and Glo. Companies that want to run promos can simply do it on our platform seamlessly and their customers rewarded
“In addition, we carry out value extension for our agents, giving them different programs, opportunities for loans and other value benefits.
“In this line, we are partnering with organizations such as SMEDAN to possibly secure loans for agents. We are partnering with an agency training network which enhance their skills in their businesses.”

On enquiry about the sustainability of this laudable initiative, Stella simply said, “it will last forever”. This follows the words of the Governor at the launch of the platform where he expressed optimism that the initiative would be sustained because it is built on mutual benefits between businesses and the people.
The Governor stressed that the unique partnership with the private sector will foster a robust and sustainable tripod relationship involving Businesses, Government and the Good People of Lagos.
