The administrative office is a key achievement of the district’s 3rd Chairman, Mrs. Olufunmilayo Olaniyi, ACA at her investiture ceremony and the 2nd year anniversary of the district in June 2024. The office was one of the agenda items outlined in her manifesto, and its completion marks a significant milestone for the district. This is a giant stride by the district considering its years of existence.
President Alaribe commended the district for its achievement, urging other districts to emulate its success. He described the administrative office as a “stepping stone to other bigger projects.” He encouraged the district to keep up the good work while enjoining the members to cooperate with its executives in achieving more success.
The incoming ICAN President, Mallam Haruna Nma Yahaya, FCA, PhD, also praised the district’s efforts, encouraging them to strive for even greater accomplishments.
While speaking with CEM Television, President Alaribe attributed the district’s success to the determination and leadership of Mrs. Olaniyi and her team. “This is a woman who has done it all,” he said. “She has succeeded because she is determined”; the President said.
The Council coordinator of LEDS, Elder Gbenga Omidiji, FCA, PhD who also graced the occasion appreciated the district for staying true to the vision and also striving to achieve this.
The commissioning of the administrative office marks a new era for ICAN Lekki and District Society. The office will serve as a hub for the district’s activities, enhancing its ability to serve its members and the community.
Mrs. Olaniyi, Chairman of the district, beamed with joy as she expressed her gratitude for the successful acquisition of the administrative office. “I’m overwhelmed with joy,” she said. “It’s one thing to make a promise, but it’s truly a blessing to have God guide us in fulfilling it.”
Mrs. Olaniyi also took the opportunity to commend her executive team and district members for their tireless efforts and contributions, which enabled the purchase of the property within the set timeframe – a remarkable achievement made possible without resorting to loans.
