“In 2024, the NPF-NCCC recovered a staggering N8,821,001,881.80, along with 115,237.91 USDT and $84,000, which were restituted to victims of cybercrime,” stated ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer, in a press release issued on January 7, 2025.
This financial recovery represents a significant blow to cybercriminal networks operating within and beyond Nigeria’s borders.
