Salutation at birthday celebration is ‘happy birthday’ as we have come to know it. The greeting represents the joy that surround the birth of a child and that which follows the memory of it. But for us at Continental Economy Magazine and CEM Television, we have found it more appropriate to say a ‘Blessed Birthday’ to our Chairman, Board of Directors, Mr Patrick Akamiokhor.
Indeed, there is no aota of contention in the use of this greeting for the birthday celebration of our Chairman because, for us, on a general level, he is a blessing and individually, he is a blessing to those that surround him as well as those that have come across him.
Am sure his immediate family, siblings and extended family will find this description of his personality as an under expression. Truly, it is an under expression following the impact he made in his family having had the vision bolstered by his innate goodwill to provide what is necessarily needed at every stage of family growth. It is fully true that today, none of family member will say less of his position as father of many.
A brief interaction with his wife a few days ago at the ICAN Lekki and District Society’s 2nd anniversary and investiture of its 3rd Chairman, validated Patrick Akamiokhor’s attributes as a dependable personality. He was the Chairman of the organizing committee. While we watched him putting things in order for the ceremony, the wife commendably said,; ‘na so he dey carry committee work for head’. This statement describes in entirety what makes him dependable. He ensure that anything under his charge succeeds.
Being recognised as dependable, he has handled various assignments for his clubs, corporate organizations and church groups. Not mentioning the past, he is currently the Chairman, Usage Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Ltd; Chairman, The Usage Chronicle; Treasurer, Usage Club of Nigeria and Vice Chairman, ICAN and Lekki District Society.
CEM will continue to refer to this special day of his as ‘blessed’ for his leadership qualities upon which the rapid growth of our companies is credited.

Mr. Patrick Akamiokhor is the Group Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of Pakisgold Global Investment ltd, Chairman/CEO Silverpat Consulting Limited and Forward Bureau de Change ltd. He is the Principal Consultant, Ali – Paak Consulting.
The Edo State born Financial Expert is the Founder of Professional Bankers Study Group Ltd that has produced Outstanding Banks MD and Financial Managers where he lectured Financial Management for over a decade.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Associate, Chartered Institute of Stock Brokers, Associate, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
A two Masters Degrees holder in Administration, Banking Finance, MBA and MBF, was Chief Examiner, Financial Management in the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and Honorary Secretary of the Lagos Branch of the same Institute.
