CEM REPORT | The Lagos chapter of Association of Mobile Money and Bank Agents in Nigeria (AMMBAN) is holding its annual training and general meeting as part of intensified efforts to keep the financial inclusion stakeholder industry sanitized and invigorated.
The training workshop and General Meeting of the POS operators scheduled to hold on Thursday, 11th of August, 2022 at the Eco Event Center, Egbeda, Lagos will dwell on industry enhancing strategies and operational capacity development.
According to the Secretary of AMMBAN, Ganiyu Ogungbayi, the event is an opportunity for members and other stakeholders to continue to ask questions and get their enquiries attended to. It is also a platform for Mobile Money Operators to exhibit there products and services and get the needed patronage.
Sponsor of the event, AjoCard, is an integrated FinTech start-up, transforming the way ‘the underserved’ assess basic banking services, including savings, loans and cash transactions across Nigeria.
The Ajocard platform offers a differentiated value proposition to both end users and the agency banking ecosystem specifically with respect to secure cash collections for individual savings. The company’s platform is licensed under a Microfinance Bank by CBN, and has met the re-capitalisation requirement stipulated by the APEX bank.
Participants are expected to sit before 11am when the event is scheduled to commence.
