CEM REPORT | Smartphone manufacturer Tecno plans to launch the 19th version of its Camon series with a new digital wallet – Tecno Wallet.
The launch of the Tecno Camon 19 which is scheduled to launch at the iconic Rockefeller Center in New York City, in June, 2022, will be among the first to run on Android 13 beta.
According to an announcement by the manufacturer the new device will come pre-installed with the new Tecno Wallet, which is a digital and financial platform that connects products, services, and merchants from across the global market, allowing TECNO users to transact, access credit, and enjoy exclusive rewards and promotions.
The wallet which comes with features such as; Integrated digital payment platform, Access to different financial services on one app, Connect existing cards and bank accounts to the app, Instant credit, Cash backs and promotional offers, Pay for airtime, data, groceries, bills, shopping, and much more

The company first launched the pilot project for the TECNO wallet in Nigeria in May and rolled out the same in Kenya by mid-June. By the end of 2022, the company aims to launch the wallet in many more countries including Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Code d’Ivoire, and Senegal.
The device which was co-developed with Samsung features a cutting-edge dual-ring triple-camera layout with RGBW lens technology which will bring a better low-light shooting experience with advanced light sensitivity and reduced light crosstalk.
