CEM APPOINTMENT | Continental Economy Magazine Ltd has made two strategic appointments as part of its moves to further boost its operation and accelerate growth of the organization. The two personalities appointed were carefully selected based on their professional qualification and work experience.
Mr. Patrick Asese Akamiokhor has been appointed as Chairman to head the Board of the company while Mr. Alex Chidi Anameje is appointed as the Chief Analyst of the Magazine.
Mr. Patrick Akamiokhor is the Group Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of Pakisgold Global Investment ltd and Forward Bureau de Change ltd. He is the Principal Consultant, Ali – Paak Consulting.
The Edo State born Financial Expert is the Founder of Professional Bankers Study Group Ltd that has produced Outstanding Banks MD and Financial Managers where he lectured Financial Management for over a decade.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Associate, Chartered Institute of Stock Brokers, Associate, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
A two Masters Degrees holder in Administration, Banking Finance, MBA and MBF, was Chief Examiner, Financial Management in the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and Honorary Secretary of the Lagos Branch of the same Institute.

Patrick Akamiokhor has been the Chief Analyst before his appointment as Chairman of Continental Economy Magazine Ltd
Mr. Alex Chidi Anameje, the appointed Chief Analyst of the Magazine, Continental Economy Magazine Ltd, was for many years the Editor of The Nigerian Banker, the professional journal of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He was the Director, Research and Training Department of the Institue.
Mr. Alex Anameje is a renowned Economist with expertise Econometrics and Research. He holds a B.Sc(Honours) of the University of Nigeria in Statistics and Economics, a Postgraduate Diploma of the University of Ibadan in Economics with emphasis on Operations Research and an M.Sc of the University of Lagos in Economics with emphasis on Econometrics.
He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria, FIMC; Member, Nigerian Economic Society, MNES; Associate, Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, AICMC; Member, Nigerian Statistical Association and Senior Member, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, HCIB. Alex is a Paul Harris Fellow, PHF, of Rotary International. He is happily married with children and enjoys reading and writing.
According to the statement made available by the Group Chief Executive Officer of Continental Economy Magazine Ltd, Mr. Jacob Udus Ipogah, he said the appointment of the duo was based on a unanimous decision by the stakeholders following the impact they have made on the magazine.
There is no doubt that the coming on board of Messrs Patrick Akamiokhor and Alex Anameje will give the magazine a brighter light and make it the best Online Business and Economic Magazine in Africa and the world at large.
